Our wooden cutlery is made from a dense type of sustainable wood that is designed to provide a smooth feel when being used for eating. As food contamination is not a problem, used cutlery can be sent to a landfill (to eventually breakdown into plant matter) or sent to a commercial composting center (for conversion into compost).
