Wedgwood Fishing Plate

One of a series of fishing plates produced by Wedgwood, hand coloured over transfer, c1910, features a fisherman 'In a Fix' because his line is caught in a tree, the border has the phrase 'When wind is in the west, then the fishes bite the best', 10in across, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
