These have delightful, bright orange/red flowers. In a sheltered position, where you currently grow Streptocarpus or such plants these will also thrive. Or grow them as a houseplant, as I do. My flowering one does live outside but under a covered deck.
I grew these from seed and the flower is from its first season, so you also shoulget yours to flower fairly quickly.
Referred to as "The Hardy Gloxinia" as they are very cold-hardy.
Once they finish flowering, once the plant begins to wither, let it die down. They will sprout again next spring from the small rybisone type
