Korowai Black Ruru

Black Ruru korowai inspired Kakahu.

Handmade here in New Zealand, this beautiful kakahu is reminiscent of the elusive black ruru with it's wavy feather-like faux fur. A chicken feather trim sits near the top and the garment is full lined. A draw cord at the neck/shoulders allows you to make this the perfect fit for whomever wears it.

This stunning cloak is perfect for graduations, weddings, twenty firsts and many other occasions. We love the idea of different family members using the same korowai to celebrate their major life events.

Size - 150cm wide (adjustable) x 125cm long.

Feathers have been treated and sterilised, making them safe to take or send to other countries.
