How Pet Remedy works...
Pet Remedy is a natural product which helps calm pets that are experiencing stress or anxiety.
The formulation contains Valerian oil (from Eastern Europe), with small inclusions of Vetiver (from Indonesia), Sweet Basil (from Europe) and
Clary Sage (from France).
Many pets like cats, dogs, small mammals, birds and horses are able to detect environmental scents at levels much lower than humans. They have highly developed olfactory systems and respond to these scents, which can help them become less focused on other stressful events. The living environment of pets largely determines their quality of life and the importance of environmental scents is recognized as a key factor in helping anxious or stressed pets feel happier and calmer.
Pet Remedy works by providing a highly attractive environmental scent for pets, helping distract them from environmental stress. In times of stress or anxiety our pets can get over stimulated, which leads on to the many different signs of stress we see in them. The special Valerian based formulation contains a number of constituents that animals are attracted to. This scent works to distract the animal from surrounding stressors or difficult environmental conditions, allowing them to feel calm and maintain normal composure.
Pet Remedy is a low concentration formulation and the diffuser delivers a constant slow release, which is very kind and gentle in its effect on the animal. The Pet Remedy sprays and wipes are also very gentle with their effect and both are water based.
Pet Remedy Sprays
* The Pet Remedy sprays are water based and pH neutral.
* Fast acting so are perfect for travelling and in the home.
* Spray on pet bedding, bandana, or even a little on your fingers when handling anxious pets.
* You only need a couple of sprays and this will last between 2 and 6 hours depending on the individual pet.
* As a rule, do not spray directly onto pet.
* Avoid spraying in the proximity of small mammals and birds as they have a small lung capacity. It is best to spray a little on a cloth and then place the cloth near them.
* When out walking or training an anxious dog, spray a little on a bandana or spray a little on a damp cloth or your fingers when handling your pet. The same applies for horses.
* You can even spray a little on your trouser leg and bring the dog to heel to take in the Pet Remedy aroma.
