1/200 1959 TEAL Electra ZK-TEB
Lockheed L-188C Electra ZK-TEB, C/N 188-2010. Named "Atarau" (Moonlight). The second of three new Electras ordered by Tasman Empire Airways Ltd (TEAL). Delivered to Auckland on 22/12/1959, and completed its first operational flight Auckland to Nadi and back on 1/1/1960. Sold overseas in May 1972. All-metal diecast model (with rubber tyres). Rotating metal props, and magnetically attached landing gear which can be posed up or down. Has a metal display stand. A weighty model, and it's a little beauty! Approx. 16cm x 14.5cm (6.25" x 5/75"). Limited Edition of only 144 worldwide, so they're in short supply!
