Renowned combat submarine Stingray, piloted by Captain Troy Tempest and hydrophone operator Lieutenant George Lee ‘Phones’ Sheridan. The flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP),and defender against despotic King Titan and his evil Aquaphibian warriors. Considered the most advanced submarine of the 2060s, Stingray measures 30 metres (85ft) long and its nuclear reactor powers a Dual Drumman Hydrojets Ratemaster Turbine. Giving the vessel a surface speed of 400 knots and a submerged speed of 600 knots. This little beauty was made famous by the 1964 TV series of the same name, created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. A perfect way to remember some of those childhood memories. Diecast metal model with some plastic parts. Approx. 15cm x 6cm (6" x 2.25"). Comes with 2 x missiles and a display stand.
