Hemi the Huhu Grub would like to let you know that he is NOT a maggot - but one of NZ's largest beetles. He has powerful jaws which he uses for creating his home in wood where he can live for up to three years. He will spend most of his life in larval form and as an adult become known as a Huhu Beetle. Some people want to fry him up and eat him because they're told I taste a bit like peanut butter!
This fun, cuddly and very unique New Zealand soft toy is baby-safe with all embroidered features and no nasty bits which might fall off.
Size - 50cm long and approx 14cm in diameter.
