Pākē Rain Cape
Traditionally the pākē or hieke was worn by Māori as a protective cloak, protecting the wearer from the weather and providing shelter.
This replica can be worn across the shoulders or diagonally across the body, over one shoulder and tied at the opposite hip.
There are loops in the inside of the top part to ensure it fits many different sizes.
Made in New Zealand using faux fur for the trim and raffia for the body of the garment.
